Lorenz’s OK Seeds LLC. Super “L” Spring wildlife seed mix is available in 50 pound bags.

The mix contains:

  • Iron and Clay Cowpeas, Victor Cowpeas and Lab Lab – each one of these makes a high protein deer forage.
  • Soybeans – easy to establish, beans excellent protein source and deer love the leaves as well.
  • Egyptian Wheat -  all game birds including dove and quail are highly attracted to this plant as the seeds are easy to get to. It also provides excellent quail cover.
  • WGF Sorghum – while not consumed by deer during the summer during the late summer and early fall the sorghum seed heads become a white-tail favorite.
  • Strain R Millet and Japanese Millet produces good seed quickly and attractive to both game and non-game birds. Deer will eat the seed heads.
  • Hybrid Sudan – easy to establish and an excellent protein source. Deer love the leaves.
  • Forage Oats – easily established and a superb source of protein. The leaves are also highly attractive to deer.
