Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja indivisa) is one of the most loved wildflowers. Plants bear red-orange leaf-like flowers that are spectacularly beautiful and easy-to-grow. Adopted to well drained areas in full sun. Select sunny location and plant in well drained soil during fall or early spring.
For best results, loosen soil with a rake or hoe. Mix seeds with a cup of sand or other inert material and broadcast over planting area. Keep soil moist until plants begin to grow.
Indian Paintbrush requires little care. Water only as needed.
